Candle Care Tips
We have already answered the most common questions for you below:
Burn for 3–4 hours to allow a full wax pool to form, trim the Hourglass wick to 6 mm, and extinguish the candle when approximately 6 mm of wax remains.
This usually happens because the initial burn was too short. Wax has a memory: if the outer edge doesn't melt the first time, the candle will continue to burn within that same track. Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge each time before extinguishing the flame. Has tunneling already occurred? Let it burn a little longer so the edges melt down as well.
Cotton fiber for Max Benjamin and rattan for Millefiori Milano. Cotton fiber absorbs the oil more evenly, resulting in a more consistent fragrance release. Rattan is coarser and complements the natural look.
Max Benjamin: Four to five months. After that, simply reuse the bottle: discard the old reeds, pour in the full refill, and insert the twelve new reeds. Allow 24 hours for the fragrance to fully disperse. Millefiori Milano: 250 ml for the living room or hallway. Want it to last longer? Use fewer reeds: a more subtle scent and a longer lifespan.
It is almost always caused by one of two things: a wick that is too long or a draft. Extinguish the candle, trim the wick (or snap off the tip using a tissue), remove any charred bits, and place the candle away from windows, doors, vents, and air conditioning. Clean the cooled glass with a damp cloth or a paper towel.
